LCAT, ATR-BC

Psychotherapy for individuals.

Psychotherapy for New Yorkers who want to hone their inner voice.

In sessions with me, all parts of you are welcome.

Do you struggle with anxiety or find yourself lost in your relationships? Are there parts of you that feel resentful, overwhelmed by responsibility, or spread too thin? I’ll help you tune into your needs and find ways to prioritize them, exchanging outdated habits for more fulfilling ones. Together we’ll identify what keeps you feeling “stuck” experiencing the same unsatisfying outcomes and help you get closer to living a life that’s more authentically aligned with who you are.

I’m a highly observant clinician, and I’ll help you make connections as you access the ways you truly think and feel. We’ll explore your fears and hesitations and gradually deconstruct these “road blocks” as we uncover their roots. You’ll naturally build insight and begin trusting yourself with greater confidence as you allow your intuition to take the lead.

About my practice

Leading with continuity assures clients they never have to start over, and I prioritize building on goals consistently. Currently, my practice is all online via Telehealth. I specialize in treating adults with anxiety and attachment trauma, however I welcome people coping with a variety of challenges, including but not limited to:

  • depression

  • mood disorders

  • grief & loss

  • life transitions

Together we’ll dignify your pain, be curious about your go-to responses, and move toward secure footing so you’ll have more clarity and flexibility in the way you make choices. Strong relationships nurture long-term growth, so we’ll build ours first.

My background

I’ve been in private practice since 2019 and have 8+ years of experience working in NYC's top hospitals, including the inpatient psychiatry program at Mount Sinai Hospital. The demands of working in acute care helped me to develop my own clinical model: treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. Your progress, not your diagnosis, is the center of our process.

Treatment beyond the individual

In therapy, no one size fits all. I’m committed to learning about the ways others culturally identify and try to be aware of my social location, especially within systems of relative power. Race, gender expression, sexuality, socioeconomic status, and ethnicity are political realities that impact lives both inside and outside treatment. I challenge myself to examine oppressive institutions and my position within them, as individual lives are inextricably shaped by larger forces.

Services

  • Intake Session

    Intake sessions are 1 hour.

I’ll leave time at the end to check in and see how we both feel about moving forward.

  • Individual Session

Individual, private pay sessions are 45 minutes. I currently offer virtual meeting options only.

  • Art Therapy

Art therapy can powerfully shape difficult-to-name experiences. At times, I incorporate art-making once a rhythm in session is established, to supplement verbal reflection.

Over time, your visual vocabulary may be something we naturally reference in conversation, like a personal language.

  • Fees & Insurance

Like many mental health professionals, I’m not in-network with insurance providers. I take seriously the financial commitment of therapy and offer sliding scale rates for those who need it. I invite the conversation around fee to be an open one, recognizing that strong treatment allies with a fee that feels both invested and sustainable. I’ll provide a monthly receipt which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
